Frequently Asked Questions
Why was Techie Factory Created?
Over 20 years as a technology executive, Baron Concors saw that coding is not only a great career choice, but a valuable life skill. Baron also saw first hand the kind of technology skills needed for people to be successful - not all technology will be relevant in 10-15 years. Baron combined his love for teaching and technology to deliver a curriculum for kids to learn coding (computer programming) in a fun and inspiring environment that will prepare them for the future.
Why should my kids learn to code?
Today, Technology is revolutionizing entire industries and economies. How much more important will it be in 10-15 years? It will be critical. Just as we teach math and science today, coding will become necessary knowledge to prepare our kids for the world. Just as I learned in my own career, these skills will be something our kids can use their entire lives. Techie Factory teaches them creativity, decision making and problem solving skills that will benefit them for in any profession they choose.
